The Slash® Late Model dirt oval racer is engineered to deliver competition-tuned track performance right out of the box. Slash's already legendary durability has been enhanced with new Extreme Heavy Duty suspension components and performance upgrades such as aluminum GTR shocks, Magnum 272R™ transmission, tough clipless body, and the fast and reliable BL-2s™ brushless power system.

When it comes to RC racing, Slash Late Model stands alone at the pinnacle of performance and durability. Rugged fenders and nerf bars protect the rear wheels for realistic fender-to-fender racing action with strong roof reinforcements for rollover protection. Thick front and rear tube bumpers protect Slash Late Model from impacts on and off the track.

Slash Late Model comes Ready-To-Race® with a track-bred low-CG chassis for razor-sharp handling. A fully adjustable steel-link suspension and silicone-filled metal-gear differential give Slash Late Model advanced tuning capabilities to bring home the win. The chassis features an integrated transponder mount and extended battery tray for optimum weight positioning.

Slash Late Model changes the game with its fully assembled clipless body. There's no complicated assembly process, just snap it on and go racing. Self-energizing locking tabs keep the body securely fastened until you release it. When it's time to hit the pit bench, the body comes off just as easily without cumbersome body clips.

For consistent power lap after lap, Traxxas' BL-2s brushless power system stands alone. The fully waterproof BL-2s speed control features three drive profiles including a dedicated Race profile with reverse lockout. The sensorless 3300 Kv motor with integrated cooling fan delivers race-winning brushless performance with nearly zero maintenance.

Slash Late Model's Magnum 272R transmission is competition-ready with a color-matched aluminum motor plate, all-metal gears, and a sealed 4-gear differential for custom tuning. A Torque Control™ slipper clutch feeds the motor's torque into the transmission with extreme heavy duty driveshafts to ensure maximum power hits the wheels.

Slash Late Model delivers supreme adjustability with nearly infinite tuning possibilities for any track or surface. Oil-filled GTR shocks feature color-matched aluminum shock bodies with 13 mm bores to hold over 70% more oil than standard Ultra Shocks. Spring preload and ride height changes are as simple as turning the threaded spring collars.

The TQ 2.4 GHz radio system keeps the focus on having fun, not worrying about interference from other vehicles. The TQ radio's advanced programming provides long-range control with smooth, glitch-free performance and its ergonomic design is comfortable for all-day racing.
