About RC Hobby Shop
RC Hobby Shop is a hobby store on the Southwest Freeway in Houston, Texas. We opened in 2018, and we sell the same genuine Traxxas vehicles, parts and accessories online that we sell across the counter.
What we do
- Genuine parts, from the manufacturer. Everything we sell comes through our authorized Traxxas and Horizon Hobby dealer accounts. No gray-market stock, no knock-off parts.
- Parts matching. Tell us your model number and we'll confirm the part before you order. Every model we stock has its own parts hub on this site, with the owner's manual, exploded views and the Traxxas parts list.
- Help in person. Bring the truck in. We'll look at it with you, pull the part off the wall, and take care of small jobs like a soldered connector on the spot. Bigger repairs we do in the shop.
- Free store pickup. Order online, choose Pick up at checkout, and we'll email you when it's ready, usually within 24 hours on days we're open.
- Shipping across the contiguous US. In-stock orders ship in 1–2 business days by UPS or USPS, free on orders of $99 and up. LiPo batteries go by ground only.

Buying from us
We don't invent reviews, we don't claim awards we can't show, and we don't ship nitro fuel. If something arrives defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll work with you and the manufacturer to make it right; after that, the manufacturer's warranty applies, and we'll point you to the right place. Full details are in our shipping and refund policies.
