Overview
The LaTrax® Alias® is a ready-to-fly quad-rotor helicopter for indoor and outdoor flying. It comes with a LaTrax 2.4 GHz 6-channel transmitter, a 650 mAh LiPo battery and a USB-powered charger, so everything needed to fly is in the box.
Features
- Three flight modesEasy (default: auto-leveling with gentle control rates), Fast (auto-leveling with higher rates; unlocks the trick button) and Expert (rate mode with auto-leveling off, for experienced pilots)
- One-button tricksIn Fast mode, press the trick button and nudge the stick: Twister spin, plus front, back, side and diagonal flips
- Two-way radio linkThe transmitter screen shows the helicopter's battery level and beeps before low-voltage cutoff
- Automatic fail-safeIf the signal is lost the Alias makes a controlled landing; if a rotor blade is blocked it disarms itself
- LED lightsSwitch the helicopter's lights on and off from the transmitter
- USB chargingAbout 40 minutes to charge the 650 mAh LiPo on the Fast setting (USB wall adapter of 1 A or more recommended)
- Indoor and outdoor flyingApproved for both; indoors, allow at least 10 × 10 ft of floor space and an 8 ft ceiling
